August 7, 2013 The artist has been invited to serve as the Juror of Awards for the National Oil & Acrylic Painters' Society Second International On-Line Open Exhibition. Dates are August 17th through November 16, 2013. January 8, 2013 The watercolor, "Alone on a Hill", was awarded the Annual Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolors Viewer's Choice Award. May 23, 2012 The watercolor, "Looking At The Moon", was awarded the MACOWIN TUTTLE MEMORIAL AWARD-$1000, the highest award for watercolor, in the 128th Annual Members Exhibition of the Salmagundi Club. This is the second straight year the artist has received this award. The watercolor, "Heaven On Earth" has been published in the recently released coffee table style book, "Art Journey America: Landscape" and was included in an article in Southwest Art Magazine promoting the book. The egg tempera, "Deliciosa" was selected to receive the LOUISE C. NEMETH MEMORIAL AWARD-$3000 in the 58th Annual of the National Society of Painters in Casein & Acrylic at the Salmagundi Club. Invited to serve as the Juror of Awards for the 70th Annual Open Exhibition of the New Jersey Watercolor Society at the Middletown Art Center, Middletown, NJ. November 11, 2011 The watercolor, "Sundial", was selected to receive the Judith and A. Richard Cohen Memorial Award of $1000 in the 30th Annual Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolors and was subsequently sold through the exhibition. The egg tempera, "Cracked Rib", was sold by Cavalier Galleries to an anonymous collector from Greenwich, CT for $54,000 establishing a new sales record for one of Wiltraut's egg temperas. The watercolor,"Old Salt", was selected by Raymond Everett Kinstler to receive the First Prize in watercolor in the Richeson 75 Portrait & Figure Competition in Kimberly, Wisconsin. May 25, 2011 The painting "The Navigator" was awarded The KATHARINE STEELE RENNINGER MEMORIAL AWARD in the 57th Annual Exhibition of the National Society of Painters in Casein & Acrylic. November 20, 2010 The painting "Old Salt" was awarded the MACOWIN TUTTLE MEMORIAL AWARD, the highest award for watercolor in the 127th Annual Members Exhibition of the Salmagundi Club. March 1, 2010 The artist has been named an HONORARY MEMBER of Audubon Artists, Inc. in New York City Two of the artist's paintings, "Wind In The Sky" and "Soft As Suede" will be included in the book BEST OF WORLDWIDE WATERMEDIA ARTISTS Volume I published by Kennedy Publications July 9, 2009 The watercolor "Dancing In The Wind" has been awarded the GEORGE SPONABLE MEMORIAL AWARD in the 28th annual Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolors. May 7, 2009 The egg tempera, "Showing My Age", has been awarded the Ralph Fabri Medal in the 55th Annual Exhibition of the National Society of Painters in Casein & Acrylic at the Salmagundi Club in New York City. This marks the fourth time the artist has received this prestigious medal. The artist recently served as a Juror of Selection and Awards for the 40th Anniversary show of the Garden State Watercolor Society. He will serve in the same capacity for the 32nd Annual Open Juried Exhibition of the Berks Art Alliance at the Reading Public Museum in June. The artist has just finished an interview with Meredith E. Lewis of Sotheby's for an upcoming article on his watercolors and egg temperas for Watercolor Artist Magazine. Look for the article in the October '09 issue. The watercolor "Dancing In The Wind" has been accepted into the 28th Annual Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolors to be held at the Old Forge Arts Center from August 22nd to October 4th. June 10, 2008 Having served as Juror of Selection and Awards for both the New Jersey In addition, the watercolor "Back For A Visit" has been accepted into the August 11, 2007 Douglas Wiltraut of Whitehall is one of only thirty artists featured in a new book entitled "My Friends, Today's Great Masters", the latest offering in the Jack Richeson Fine Art Book Series. Richeson, of Kimberly, Wisconsin, is a collector and owner of Jack Richeson Fine Art, one of the world's premier art supply companies. into the 138th Annual "Soft As Suede" was awarded the KEYSTONE MEDALLION in the 25th Anniversary Exhibition of the Pennnsylvania Watercolor Society at the Hoyt Institute in New Castle, Pennsylvania. The awards will be presented on Sunday November 28th from 2 to 4 PM. The egg tempera, "Purple Haze", was awarded the GERRY LENFEST AWARD FOR AMERICAN ART in the 51st Annual Exhibition of the National Society of Painters in Casein & Acrylic held at the Salmagundi Club in New York City. The egg tempera "Barely A Breeze" was exhibited in the 67th National Midyear Exhibition of the Butler Institute of American Art in Youngstown, Ohio. The exhibition closes August 22nd, 2004. The watercolor "Soft As Suede" has been accepted into the
25th International The artist will be serving as the Juror of Awards in the watercolor and graphic category for the upcoming Hudson Valley Art Association Exhibition held at Hastings-On-The-Hudson in April of 2005.
