Having served as Juror of Selection and Awards for both the New Jersey
Watercolor Society and the Philadelphia Watercolor Society in 2007, the artist has been selected to serve on the Jury of Selection and Awards for the Tewksbury Historical Society Exhibition in Oldwick, New Jersey and the 79th Annual Philips Mill Show in New Hope, Pennsylvania.

In addition, the watercolor "Back For A Visit" has been accepted into the
Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolors
in Old Forge, New York.

Douglas Wiltraut of Whitehall is one of only thirty artists featured in a new book entitled "My Friends, Today's Great Masters", the latest offering in the Jack Richeson Fine Art Book Series. Richeson, of Kimberly, Wisconsin, is a collector and owner of Jack Richeson Fine Art, one of the world's premier art supply companies. Along with his photo and biography, two of Wiltraut's egg tempera paintings, "Light Fiesta" and "Reds" and his watercolor "Monk" are included in the hardcover book.

WILTRAUT TO JURY ART
Douglas Wiltraut of Whitehall has been invited to serve as the Juror of Awards for the Philadelphia Watercolor Society's 107th Anniversary Exhibition of Works on Paper which will be held at the Phillips Museum at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster. He will also serve as the Juror of Awards for the New Jersey Water Color Society's 65th Annual Open Exhibition. Their exhibition will be held this fall at the Monmouth Museum on the campus of Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, New Jersey.

Artist elected member of the Hudson Valley Art Association


The portrait "Off In The Distance" has been awarded
the JUDY AND ELIAS NEWMAN MEMORIAL AWARD in the 52nd Annual Exhibition of the National Society of Painters in Casein & Acrylic at the Salmagundi Club in New York City.

Artist is elected as Signature Member of the American Watercolor
Society in 2005.


The watercolor "Bone Dry" has been accepted into the 138th Annual
International Exhibition of the American Watercolor Society. The exhibition runs from April 5 through May 1, 2005 at the Salmagundi Club in New York City.
The artist has been elected an Active Member of the American Watercolor
Society.


"Soft As Suede" was awarded the KEYSTONE MEDALLION in the 25th Anniversary Exhibition of the Pennnsylvania Watercolor Society at the Hoyt Institute in New Castle, Pennsylvania. The awards will be presented on Sunday November 28th from 2 to 4 PM.


The egg tempera, "Purple Haze", was awarded the GERRY LENFEST AWARD FOR AMERICAN ART in the 51st Annual Exhibition of the National Society of Painters in Casein & Acrylic held at the Salmagundi Club in New York City.


The egg tempera "Barely A Breeze" was exhibited in the 67th National Midyear Exhibition of the Butler Institute of American Art in Youngstown, Ohio. The exhibition closes August 22nd, 2004.


The watercolor "Soft As Suede" has been accepted into the 25th International
Juried Exhibition of the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society. The exhibition
will be held at the Hoyt Institute of Fine Art in New Castle, Pennsylvania from
November 28th through December 23rd, 2004 with the Opening Reception on Sunday, November 28th, 2004 from 3-5 PM.


The artist will be serving as the Juror of Awards in the watercolor and graphic category for the upcoming Hudson Valley Art Association Exhibition held at Hastings-On-The-Hudson in April of 2005.
