Always intrigued by interesting patterns of light and shadow, the artist saw just that in the dancing light which filtered through one of his wife’s picnic baskets. The faded flowers painted in a band around the basket and the impending picnic lunch added to the festive feeling hence the title “Light Fiesta”.
