Wind In The Sky
Watercolor
28 x 39 inches

One late afternoon the artist had a chance meeting with the owner of this farm at the end of the long lane that led up to his house. After expressing his attraction to the farm the artist was invited to have his run of the property. The only reservation the owner had was that the place “could use a little paint.” The artist assured him that it was exactly the chipping and peeling paint that had attracted him. Later in the day a shaft of light magically slipped in between the two barns and across the property. There was a stillness in the air but the windmill and the high wispy clouds reminded the artist that there was still “Wind In The Sky”.
